Today’s generation of youth need leadership skills to empower them to stand as a positive voice of influence to their peers, and to enable them to pursue a distinguished and purpose-filled life.
Research and experience show there is a lack of leadership development among youth between the ages of 14-18. We want to implement a program directed towards “marginal” students -- the students with all of the hidden capacity to succeed, but none of the support structure necessary -- the "diamonds in the rough". Today's students need a program that utilizes our influence as adults in the community in order to equip and empower students to realize their full potential for leadership and success in life.
Get Involved
As we pray for and prepare to get this program “up and running,” we will need your partnership to see this program implemented. We are seeking volunteers to mentor high school kids, to prepare meals for these kids, provide transportation, along with many other opportunities and needs. If you have a heart to see students gain leadership skills, and not only graduate high school but also have the potential of college attendance in their future as well, please contact rip@segueministries.org
